Overview
House of Epochs is a digital archive dedicated to monumental structures that outlasted their builders. Surveying ruins across six disciplines — from structural preservation to field conservation — the institution has operated since 1961, treating ancient architecture as irreplaceable history requiring documentation before the earth reclaims it.
Challenge
Build a web experience that feels archaeological and cinematic — drawing visitors into a world of myth and ruin without losing usability. Every detail, from typography to colour, had to carry the weight of centuries.
Solution
Designed an editorial-first layout with desert-toned palettes, layered UI panels mimicking archive cards and field reports, and immersive full-screen world-building imagery. The copy leans literary: "Recording structures the earth is slowly reclaiming."
Outcome
A fully realised digital world that blurs the line between fiction and institution — demonstrating Tsera's ability to craft immersive narrative web experiences from the ground up.
